Nowadays, the locals are much friendlier and justifiably proud of their local cuisine. These are a few of the local restaurants we have used and can recommend.

Cap Sud:

Situated at the eastern end of the promenade in Val André, beside the sailing centre, Cap Sud is one of the only beach-front restaurants in the town. It specialises in seafood and offers a very extensive menu. Telephone: 02 96 72 96 37

Le Val Joli:

Le Val Joli restaurant is on Rue Amiral Charner in the centre of Val André, near the main car park. This brasserie offers a wide selection of pizzas along with fish, duck and beef dishes. A childrens menu is also available. Telephone 02 96 72 20 49.
